Designed, developed, and manufactured in Switzerland, the IQAir HealthPro 250 is ideal for removing a broad range of airborne pollution, including viruses, nitrogen dioxide, PM 2.5, PM10, gases, and chemicals. The HyperHEPA Difference
When it comes to your health, smaller particles can be especially harmful. Surprisingly, 90% of all ultra-fine particles are smaller than 0.3 microns, and most air purifiers filter only larger particles. This means that most air purifiers capture just 10% of the particles in your air. Just like the regular HealthPro 250, the IQAir HealthPro 250 XE features a multi-stage filtration system that captures the widest spectrum of airborne pollutants with exceptional precision and longevity.
1. Micro-Particle Filtration – PreMax Pre-Filter The first line of defence in the HealthPro 250 XE is the PreMax F8 filter. It captures large airborne particles such as dust, pet dander, mould spores, and pollen. Constructed with non-woven glass microfibre media and a mini-pleat design, this filter delivers 55% efficiency at 0.3 microns. Thermoplastic separators and a CFC-free build help maintain structural integrity and airflow. Its generous surface area protects downstream filters and the fan from premature contamination, ensuring longer service life and more efficient operation.
2. Gas and Odour Filtration – V5-Cell™ Filter The V5-Cell filter of the HealthPro 250 XE neutralises harmful gases, VOCs, and odours through a dual-stage filtration process. Its high-quality granular activated carbon is for the broad VOC removal and impregnated alumina with potassium permanganate is for the effective chemisorption of reactive gases such as formaldehyde. HealthPro 250 XE is effective against the widest range of chemical pollutants and is trusted in leading UK laboratories and other sensitive environments.
3. Ultra-Fine Particle Filtration – HyperHEPA Filter The final filtration stage of the HealthPro 250 XE is the HyperHEPA filter, engineered to stop ultra-fine particles with ≥99.95% efficiency on every speed setting — far beyond conventional HEPA air purifiers. The HyperHEPA of the HealthPro 250 XE includes viruses, bacteria, fine and ultra fine traffic pollution, and industrial pollutants. Its HEPA H13-grade glass microfibre media is folded into a mini-pleat structure with inert thermoplastic separators. Under typical usage conditions, the HyperHEPA filter can last up to three years while maintaining exceptional performance.
